The purpose of the information in the register is to facilitate the efficient management of Sora Consulting Oy's services (consulting, training and speaker services). The register also supports invoicing, providing information and marketing materials to customers, and maintaining customer relations.
The register contains information collected for the company's services: first and last name, telephone number, e-mail address, and. For training courses and events. Other information necessary for practical arrangements such as dietary requirements, plus billing information including postal address and registration/billing history.
The personal data in the register is information that website visitors have submitted themselves via registration forms or that has accumulated through customer interactions (e.g. phone, email). For trainings, information is stored in the system used for that training at the time.
The data in the register is disclosed to a third party if the event the customer is participating in involves the use of an external system, such as LinkedIn or Lyyti. As little information as possible is shared, such as first name, last name and LinkedIn profile address. Once the data has been disclosed to the service provider, they are responsible for storing, using and destroying the data in accordance with regulations.
Name and contact details that are part of the billing data are stored in the billing software in accordance with the Finnish Accounting Act. Other data collected for events is anonymised promptly after the event, and in any case no later than 60 days after the event ends. Name and email information is retained for marketing purposes only if the customer has given permission.
The information stored in the register is confidential and cannot be accessed by third parties. The register is kept behind password protection. Only the data controller has access to the password.
People in the register can, if they wish, check their data or delete them entirely from the register via a link in an electronic letter, or request deletion of their data by email.
We use cookies on this site to run the service and measure marketing. An open-source consent tool called Klaro (KIProtect, klaro.kiprotect.com) runs on the site and asks for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time from the "Change choices" link at the bottom of the page.
Essential cookies are required for the technical functioning of the website (for example, Klaro's own consent memory sc_klaro_consent). These do not require consent and do not collect data used for marketing.
